I saw this series by Richard Mosse earlier today on Pieter Wisse's 500 Photographers and I was seriously blown away. He uses infrared film, which produces the colours you see. The series that these are from is titled Infra and were shot in the Eastern Congo. Don't you think these are incredibly beautiful and scary all at once?

  2. Great photos. I love infrared photography but it's much too expensive for me to invest in (what with the price of filters and film and all). I love the way the landscape goes from green to this garish magenta - it really offsets the presence of the army!

  5. I love infra red photography! I took some infra red pictures before (with my friend's camera because it's too expensive for me to get the filter) Great pics.
